who are you praying for?

Long ago, I set a monthly reminder on my google calendar to alert me on the first Sunday of each month to make a monthly prayer list.

It’s the first Sunday of October (also – fun and important – today is my little sister’s 1 year wedding anniversary…awe…yay Joy and Carson!!).

Insert cute pic of the love birds from 1 year ago today:

Who are you praying for?

There are so many things to pray for – family, work, church, government, wisdom in decisions, health and protection, our calling – just to name a few from my own list.

Go ahead, grab your journal or any sheet of paper and let’s do this.

Make an October 2021 prayer list. Keep it nearby. Revisit your prayer list everyday. Post it on the window, on the fridge, on the mirror, on your nightstand.

Lord, tonight we bring our requests before You. Hear our cries. Order our steps. Guide our words, actions and steps. Day by day, like only You can.

“Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; hold not your peace at my tears! For I am a sojourner with you, a guest, like all my fathers.”

Psalm 39:12
