Several years ago I began ending each day with one empty lined journal page and a pen.
This one habit has been my favorite.
First, I list 5 things I’m thankful for. My goal is to find specific items that happened during the day to give thanks for.
Then, I make a bullet list of people and situations I’m praying for. This always helps to keep in mind the requests I don’t want to forget.
This quiet way to end the day has become something I never want to leave.
Also, this is pretty much how our day as a family has been spent:
And I’ve enjoyed every single moment.
How about you? Do you have a habit that helps you end the day well?

Myself, husband and our two boys gather in my oldest son’s bed and each share at least one good thing from the day and then one of us prays. It’s a great reminder that no matter what there is always good to be found and a great way to end the day.

Love this, Carrie! We also gather in one room to pray. Love how y’all each say one good thing!
