Last year our entire family participated in Wreaths Across America and it was one of the most meaningful and memorable ways to honor those who have served on our behalf.
Each December, this organization selects one day to lay wreaths in memory of veterans all over our country. It is absolutely incredible to attend the ceremonies and be able to help lay out the wreaths in their memory.
Want to help this year? Here are 3 easy ways to get involved.
#1 – Donate Online
For every 2 wreaths donated, Wreaths Across America will donate a 3rd wreath. You can help my mom’s office (AXA) and their volunteer team by making a donation with the information below.
#2 – Volunteer to lay wreaths with our team
Volunteer to lay Wreaths at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews on Saturday, 12/15
➢ Family and friends are welcome to join – just provide a number if you can, we will provide AXA scarves to wear and take home – while supplies last
➢ We have 100 wreaths reserved for AXA – across four gardens
➢ Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104 (don’t confuse this with their West cemetery in Charlotte!)
Respond to this blog or text and I’ll get you in touch with our team!
#3 – Find a local Organization to partner with
Not part of our Charlotte area? You can still find a group to partner with this December. Submit to be involved wherever you live here.
