#funfriday / a day with no agenda

the daily Starr fun friday

Taking time to do nothing often brings everything into perspective. -Doe Zantamata

A day with no agenda is the best kind of day.

Add a little sunshine in and everyone is the best kind of happy.

It’s Joy’s fall break and we kept our tradition of coming to the beach for a couple of days to unwind. Even in the midst of a tropical storm that almost blew us away. Whew.

We don’t come to the beach in the summer, because, well…

beach + summer = crowds

We don’t do crowds. We’d much rather have wide open spaces.

Slow down and everything you are chasing will come around and catch you. -John De Paola

Oh, Joy. We love you.

We love asking you a million questions, over and over. We love watching perfect sunsets with you. We love riding the “lazy liver”. We love it all.

The best kind of days are those where you don’t get in the car to drive anywhere, you just stay with your people. I would be fine if every #funfriday had no agenda at all – just us being us, together.

‘Cars’ was about Lightning McQueen learning to slow down and to enjoy life. The journey is the reward. -John Lasseter
