#thirstythursday / it’s time to start again, 40 days of prayer

the daily Starr thirsty thursday

Because for me, it always seems to come back to this.

He prayed to God regularly. Acts 10:2

Prayer changes everything.

It feels as though God is pulling me in for another season of seeking Him in prayer.

You can see page 1 of my 40-day prayer challenge devotional, Draw the Circle, and how many times I’ve taken this challenge over the past few years.

It’s never enough.

I always come back.
I always learn something new.
I’m always challenged to have a new perspective and seek Him more.

Now is the time.

How about you? Is God urging you to seek His face for the circumstances in your own life?

God is always preparing us and positioning us for divine appointments. And prayer is the way we discern the next move. The plans of God are only revealed in the presence of God. We don’t get our marching orders until we get on our knees! But if we hit our knees, God will take us places we never imagined going by paths we didn’t even know existed.  – Mark Batterson, Draw the Circle
