#thirstythursday / saying goodbye to Kiddle Lane

the daily Starr thirsty thursday

We signed the papers last week, but tonight our home on Kiddle Lane officially has a new owner [note: shockingly, I haven’t cried yet].

Last night we stopped by to say our last goodbyes.

Brock was in a MOOD, y’all.

They roamed through the house, visiting every room one last time.

And of course, we had one last show on the stage.

As I’ve been thinking all week about this season of our life coming to a close, one song keeps coming to my mind by Rend Collective.

I am counting every blessing
Counting every blessing
Letting go and trusting
When I cannot see
I am counting every blessing
Counting every blessing
Surely every season
You are good to me

Tonight, I count every blessing in every season. Lord, thank You.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
– 1 Thessalonians 5:18

ps – I am currently writing a letter for our kids to have and recount the memories we lived in this home they first knew. I’ll share that here on the blog whenever I get finished one of these days. Maybe I’ll have time while we wait out this storm over the weekend πŸ˜‰

  1. Good memories to treasure.
    Even better memories to come.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:17
