#slowitdownSunday / putting the brakes on a busy life, part 2

the daily Starr slow it down Sunday

We’re putting the brakes on busy and the hectic running that has defined our family for too long.

Tonight’s #slowitdownSunday reminder:

it’s OKAY to stay home

There is hardly a day when I’m not tempted to go-go-go.

Go run errands.
Go here, go there.
Go get stuff done.
Go somewhere fun.
Go to this celebration.
Go to that party.
Go go go go go go go go.

I actually enjoy being on the go – most days.

It seems as though lately this is changing.

Here I am, turning into that person who craves days where I can STAY.

Stay and be still.
Stay and rest.
Stay and regroup.
Stay and create.

Just be home with my people.

Instead of looking for somewhere to go, I’m trying to figure out ways to never leave…

Who is this Starr????

I’m not sure what happened, but I’m starting to fall in love with the new homebody me.
