#slowitdownSunday / how we’re learning Bible verses with our kids

the daily Starr slow it down Sunday

Recently our family joined a local church program as part of our new homeschool adventure. We feel as though we’ve found the most amazing hidden treasure in Charlotte!

Greyfriar’s Classical Tutorials provides us with accountability and structure as we navigate our first year on our own teaching our kids.

Kayla attends Greyfriar’s every Tuesday with 100+ other elementary students where she learns Grammar, Writing, History, Bible, Music, Art, Science, Math and more.

Part of the Bible curriculum includes memory verses each week. These verses are set to music and we’ve decided to make them our #scriptureoftheweek to learn together.

Here is how the Haiglers are learning Bible verses in the car:

This week’s scripture:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESVUK)

16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God[a] may be competent, equipped for every good work.
