I’m one of those people – if there is something in our house I can’t find…WATCH OUT!
Somehow I become like a mad woman on a mission. I won’t stop until locating said lost item. I just keep {SEARCHING} and {SEARCHING} and {SEARCHING}.
It might drive my husband crazy.
For example, I bought several textbooks my daughter needs this week way back in May. I KNOW! SHOCKING! Starr did something early.
Then, we moved.
This is what happens when I don’t procrastinate and try to be an organized person.
Those textbooks are nowhere to be found. I thought they were in a very specific location. But they aren’t.
Ever had those moments where you think, “Oh, I’m pretty sure I put that somewhere important so I wouldn’t lose it!” ?????
Yep.
Now I’ve spent the last hour and a half {SEARCHING} this house over and over.
A thought came to me as I went on this mission – about {SEARCHING} and how it is mentioned in the Bible.
You will call to me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart. I will be found by you” — this is the Lord’s declaration – Jeremiah 29:12-14
What if I searched for God like I search for lost stuff in my house?
Wow. How different my life would surely be.

Never fear friend, I have purchased Christmas gifts early and had to hide them so family members wouldn’t find them. Come time to bring out said gift to wrap it was never found till March when I started Spring cleaning! Ugh!
