They woke up this morning not knowing where we landed last night in the Haigler Adventure Bus. All they knew was there was a pool involved. It doesn’t take much to make this crowd happy, obviously!
Welcome to Chattanooga, kiddos!
This artsy city is a mere 30 minutes away from where I spent my college years at Lee University. Chattanooga has always captured my heart and I love coming back any chance we get!
After trusty Five Guys for lunch, we ventured around town near the Riverwalk area.
There are so many parks and walking bridges and outdoor fun spots tucked all around this bustling area.
Directly across from our hotel, the kids spotted a museum with slides through the large glass windows. We couldn’t resist. Especially since the temps reached into the 90s and this museum was INDOORS. Yes.
For all you locals to Charlotte, think Discovery Place. Creative Discovery Museum was very similar and the kids had a blast. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood was on exhibit and that just happens to be one of Brock’s favorite shows on PBS.
They loved this room full of moveable tracks. Brock would not stay still, even for one shot.
Also, there were drums. Inside a music studio.
One of my favorite features was a room that had a large screen to capture whatever shape and movement came into the room.
How fun is that???
Chattanooga, you never disappoint. Our kiddos enjoyed their very first time exploring this Tennessee gem for Family Camp Day 4.
