My favorite #funfridays are the ones where they have no idea where the road will lead!
We loaded up the Haigler Adventure Bus and took off on a one night adventure.
Hint #1 – there were tunnels.
Also, Kayla always thinks she knows where we are going…and she’s usually right.
We ended up visiting our Uncle Stevie who is recovering from surgery in Knoxville!
His story is one we’re all celebrating and Uncle Steve just reminded me that God has a purpose for his life and that He still does miracles. Here is what my Aunt Debra shared earlier today:
WOW! When God shows up, He sometimes shows out in a BIG way. The days looked uncertain for sure when Steve received his cancer diagnosis in Feb. of this year. Chemo was hard and discouraging at times, but he took it in stride. Surgery originally was supposed to be mid-May, but different circumstances delayed the date and then last minute a change of surgeons. We kept wondering what God had planned, but yes, He was in control all the time…surgery was last Friday (yes, the 13th, Steve’s lucky day!!) We were told he’d be in the hospital for 10-14 days because of the seriousness of the surgery. But, the surgeon just came in and said the biopsy was great. No sign of cancer! AND we may even get to go home tomorrow!! What??!! Eight days after surgery? Again, God is good! He gets all the glory! Thank you to all who’ve supported us with your thoughts and prayers!
We’re all so incredibly thankful for God’s hand on Steve’s life. And he’s even been witnessing to the nurses 🙂
Wow. Only God!
Brock liked the hospital doors most:
Now let’s go eat some Cracker Barrel and play at the hotel pool! Happy Friday, friends!
