We moved into our little cottage at the new property about a month ago. Since then, our house has not been the highest priority. With summer camps, several renovations happening (oh yeah, we renovate homes, just not ours…lol), we’ve barely been home this summer to unpack any of the boxes filling our space.
I shared the ugly reality that is our current situation this afternoon on Facebook live:
As I said in the video – it was time to lock myself inside and get this kitchen unpacked. I am soooo over living in controlled chaos!
Here are the before images of our kitchen – as of 3pm this afternoon, and the afters which make me OH SO HAPPY!!!!
Here. We. Go.

I’ve never been happier in my life to see laminate countertops!!!
We still have lots left to accomplish for sure, but I am ready to deem this #makeovermonday a SUCCESS!
When I get overwhelmed, I just sit and look out these windows at God’s beautiful creation and everything is alright in our world – even with boxes surrounding us in every corner.
One day families will come to visit with us and share memories and laughter around this same table. I can’t wait to welcome y’all here.
