In case you missed it, we got a cat last week. And then it ran away, all in the same day.
Definitely, a #funfriday that didn’t turn out as planned.
That kitten hasn’t been seen since it flew out of that pet taxi. Maybe he or she will come home??
Meanwhile, one of our friends is moving to Utah and needed a home for her cat.
So today we ventured to Waxhaw to pick up our new cat.
Meet, Meow!
He’s two years old and loves kids. That’s a GOOD thing.
The kids can’t decide if they want to keep the name Meow or give him a new nickname – like Nathaniel, or Danny, or Bob. All suggestions given on the drive home…
This time we learned our lesson and opened the pet taxi on the back porch where the screens will hopefully keep him from running away.
He’s adjusting well and we’re so excited to have our new buddy on the back porch. Thank you, Meadows family, for sharing Meow with us! We promise to take good care of him (as long as he will stay and not run away, lol).
Stay tuned and we’ll let you know if he’s still there in the morning.

I have a friend that has a cat named Meowburt. That keeps her name but makes it a tad bit different. She is a beautiful cat and I hope everyone adjusts well to each other.
