#makeovermonday / welcome to our next renovation in progress – in Beacon Hills

the daily Starr makeover monday blog

Welcome to today’s #makeovermonday featuring our next renovation in the adorable Beacon Hills neighborhood!

in progress

I’m already so excited about this little ranch home. We’ve got new windows, fresh paint inside and out, a new fence and overgrown landscaping that is now GONE!

This kitchen was definitely a fixer-upper to start with.

before we started

No countertops, no cabinet doors, no appliances. Lovely, right???

Look how far it’s come!!

in progress

The cabinets are ready for new doors, new hardware, new backsplash, new appliances and new flooring. We’ve also added wide shiplap all over this house – to the walls AND some of the ceilings.

And look at this bathroom before.

Now, in progress –

We’ve still got lots of work, but this is going to be one amazing home.

Stay tuned, we’ll check back in with the final reveal soon!

  1. Starr…im gonna be painting kitchen cabinets soon (I’ll paint anything, drives people nuts but i dont care!) What is the best way to paint them? I know you use tinted primer on furniture. wasnt sure what works best with kitchen cabinets.

    1. I will check with Brian and comment back tomorrow. It is an oil based paint we use on kitchen cabinets usually with primer underneath b
