#slowitdownSunday / I just called to say I love you

the daily Starr slow it down Sunday

Do you remember this song?

If I could pick up the phone tonight and call you – I’d say this – “I love you!”

Now, it would be even better if you could imagine me holding one of those retro phones like Stevie has in the video..hahahah! How many of us feel really old seeing that?!?!?

YOU are loved, friend.

No matter what this day has brought your way – happiness, sadness, encouragement, grief, loneliness, hope. Holidays can be all of the above and everything in-between.

Tonight, know that someone cares about you.

Me. I care.

And Jesus.

Jesus cares way more than anyone else on earth ever could.

1 Peter 5:7ย Living Bible (TLB)

7ย Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.

He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.

I just called to say I love you.
I just called to say how much I care.

I just called to say I love you.
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

  1. Sweet Friend, I am one of those that needed reminding as yesterday was a very difficult day to make it through. I am glad Monday is here and being reminded that I have a call from a friend and Jesus to tell me I am loved is such a wonderful way to start my day. Thank you and know you are a special Warrior for our King. Thanks.
