#slowitdownSunday / the only thing in life that never changes

the daily Starr slow it down Sunday

People change.
Seasons change.
Careers change.
Dreams change.
Relationships change.
Interest rates change (ha, we sure do know about this!).
Hearts change.

Tastebuds change.
Skylines change.
Images in the mirror change.

There’s little in life we can control when it comes to change. It’s unstoppable, actually. Someone said it best when they said it’s best to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Truth.

Just when you think life is going great, something will inevitably change. It could be a minor detour or a sudden crash that changes the trajectory of your future.

I’ve lived through both. Many times, actually.

The longer I live, the more I realize there is only one constant – one thing that will NEVER change.

Your love never fails
It never gives up

It never runs out on me

The love of Jesus will never change. He is yesterday, today and forever. Nothing can take that away from His children.

Whatever you’re facing tonight, hold fast to the love of Jesus and let Him guide you through the rapids of a world that changes every single day.
