Noooo, I’m not talking about PEOPLE! Y’all know I wouldn’t be talking about THAT on my blog. LOL.
And obviously, google short links thought my blog title was inappropriate and disabled the link, AHHH, sorry guys!!!
ROOMS, people. Rooms! Naked rooms.
Kylie thinks it’s weird too, don’t worry.
What does it mean anyways – a naked room??
Example: here is the before of our front dining room this afternoon.
One of our curtain rods came out of the wall and I took advantage of the situation to just go ahead and clear out the room since we’ll be moving in a few short months.
WOW! You have no idea the impact of moving all the stuff out of a room – curtains, wall art, decor, etc. – until you actually do it. If I moved the rug out, it would be even more powerful.
I’m amazed every single time.
It’s been 2+ years since I made our entire house naked. When taking everything out of a space, I’m always reminded how much I truly do love our space. It’s like our home is hiding behind the stuff and needs to just breathe for a minute.
You don’t have to wait until you move…

For the rest of us with rooms like this:
Know that in less than 1 hour, you can change the entire feel of your home. Enlist your entire family to help.
Brian’s mom built that moveable island/table for us at her shop – yep, pure ahhmazement. We’re planning to sell fun pieces like this at our shop on the new property!!
Our home even feels like it’s “talking to us” now! With the curtains and decor out, the entire front room echoes! Super strange for us!
Kayla helped take the hooks off our curtains. I’m going to wash them and box up to move.
And before y’all go to thinking I’m super mom getting my house cleaned out, here is the other part of the room currently.
Lots to do here, folks. Lots to do.
Today is the perfect time to let your home breathe and get naked. Give it a try!
