That thing you’ve always wanted to do with your life…

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Time waits for no one.

We aren’t promised tomorrow.

Sometimes that stirring inside the deepest parts of your soul is God asking you to step out – outside of your comfort zone, outside of your normal – into something new.

Maybe you’re like me and you don’t even know what that thing is really.

And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. – Luke 11:9 ESV

I’m living proof of what obedience can look like – even when you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes it means taking one small step at a time.

I’ve searched for almost 5 years for “what I wanted to do with my life” and the answers didn’t seem to come quickly. If anything, I kept going to door after door after door and they kept closing.

So I just kept walking. And knocking. And seeking. And finding.

All of the closed doors and all of the twists and turns now have deeper meaning and I’m so thankful.

How about you?

What is that thing buried deep in your soul? Just go do it.

Take one small step and ask God to lead.
