#makeovermonday / a fixer upper in the neighborhood of our first home

the daily Starr makeover monday blog

This adorable house sits in the neighborhood where Brian and I bought our first house!

My little assistant went with me Friday to grab photos before we closed. First, let’s go back a few months on this #makeovermonday and see what this house looked like BEFORE we started the transformation.

Y’all. Somebody left their cinnamon rolls…

We see it all 🙂

Alright. It wasn’t bad, but we made it move in ready!

I love this open concept kitchen and living area with vaulted ceilings. AND I love this little boy.

For the kitchen, we did our typical upgrades and kept the existing cabinets. All of our colors and selections are listed at the bottom of this post.

Now, let’s see those baths.

In the master, we updated the sink and bought a marble sink top and set on top of the existing cabinets.

I LOVE the square sink.

This house brought back memories for sure. What a great neighborhood, we love Meriwether.

Here are the color selections we used –

Kitchen cabinet color: Mindful Gray SW 7016 by Sherwin Williams
Interior wall color: Agreeable Gray SW 7029 by Sherwin Williams
Kitchen Granite color: Dallas White
