#slowitdownSunday / You thought I was worth saving

the daily Starr slow it down Sunday

Our choir has been practicing a song for our Easter service lately and I can’t seem to get the words out of my head.

On this #slowitdownSunday I want to remind you how much the Savior loves you – He gave it all!

You thought I was worth saving
So, You came and changed my life
You thought I was worth keeping
So, You cleaned me up inside
You thought I was to die for
So, You sacrificed your life

So, I could be free
So, I could be whole
So, I could tell everyone I know

– Worth by Anthony Brown

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 NIV
