The first day of 2018 and I’m finally being brave enough to start a project I’ve had on my mind for months.
Our house is full of areas that become messy. #welcometoourreallife
Hello!! Anyone else feel our pain???
For instance, our bathroom – the current situation. Definitely in need of a #makeovermonday in the worst possible way.
100% totally me. No one else but my mess, y’all. No matter how many times I clean it up and how many storage solutions I convince Brian to buy that will solve all my bathroom clutter problems….
It always ends up a mess.
Our house has areas like this all over, not just the bathroom. The kitchen counters. The front door entry area. The laundry room. Our master bedroom. The kid’s rooms. And I know I can’t be alone.
We’ve been focusing on spending more quality time with our kids each night from 6-9pm (technology free) and I’m ready to start taking advantage of those little helpers to tackle our messy areas.
Tonight everyone pitched in and helped clean up the bathroom.
The kids were all excited for our “project” haha! One day they will not think cleaning is fun. Until that day, I’ll take full advantage of their excitement for cleaning sinks and such.
We’re going to continue our #welcometoourreallife daily family projects to tackle all the little messes – and don’t you worry, there are plenty to keep us busy! I’ve decided to keep track of our progress via my Instagram page for 2 reasons – #1 to be real and let you know that we all have messes. #2 to keep me accountable to always keep going and change day by day, one project at a time.
If you’re interested in following along, I’ll be posting our daily messy projects and featuring some of our favorites here on the blog as we go through the year.
Won’t you join us and tackle the little messes one day at a time?
