Our family has been reading Charlotte’s Web as part of our elementary school’s One School, One Book project.
Earlier this week we attended the County Fair celebration and Wilbur came too!
A friend recommended how her family created webs for each family member after they read the book together.
What a fantastic idea! That’s exactly what we did.
A quick google search turned up this entire Charlotte’s Web activity packet.
Next, I found a plain web to print out for each of us.
We passed them around the table and each wrote words in the web, just like Charlotte!
How fun is that???
We hung them up on the wall to display by our dining room table.
We even played music from the Charlotte’s Web movie as our background for this #funfriday celebration at home.
The kiddos are now ready to snuggle up and watch the movie together.
This is a tradition I want to continue. Reading together, celebrating together and learning.

As a retired teacher, THIS is one of the greatest things you can do with your child to instill the love of learning and make a reader for life. Great job. Well done.

Thank you! We honestly haven’t read enough as a family. This has challenged me to do it more and make it fun with other activities to go with our reading. We had a blast!
