Once a year we have a church cookout with giant waterslides.
This has become one of my favorite ways to celebrate the end of summer.
One of the best parts? That 22 ft water slide where kids of all ages can land in a mess of mud and water and grass. It is pure entertainment to sit and watch people land!
Coming together to spend time with our church family is one of the best ways I can think of to spend our #slowitdownSunday.
I don’t take this for granted. I actually crave this community of faith more and more every day.
It was the end of the night and I had decided to pass on the big slide this year. Then, Chloe looked at me and said, “Time waits for no one. Let’s go, Starr!”
And so we did.
All of us “young people” that were left at the end of the night had an absolute blast!!
We might be hurting for a week, but goodness gracious we had fun!!
Those things you’re putting off or deciding to pass on – go do them. Time waits for no one.
You’ll be so glad you did. Joy can be found in these daily adventures. We just have to take the leap.
