Brock is our first child that is sensitive to dairy products. Every time we’ve tried to introduce them into his diet his stomach disagrees – I mean REALLY disagrees! It’s no bueno, friends.
But he’s just so stinkin’ cute!!!
And did I mention he’s picky too???
Yes, this third child of ours has thrown us for a loop when it comes to everyday staples we keep on hand.
First – milk.
We’ve tried them all. He just won’t drink it if he doesn’t like it. Coconut milk, almond milk, etc.
FINALLY – we discovered this Flax milk at our local Harris Teeter. Brock BEGS for this stuff. And his stomach doesn’t get upset at all.
Good Karma Flaxmilk
We purchase the blue one in the middle (Vanilla). It’s only $3.99 regular price, but I’ve purchased for $2.99 several times on sale over the past few months.
Next, butter.
I didn’t realize how much I add butter when I’m cooking, even in small amounts. I found this coconut butter alternative and y’all – this stuff is AHHHMAZING on toast!!
Melt Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Buttery Spread
This stuff rocks. I use it when I’m cooking veggies and on my Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel bread (btw you should try this stuff too if you’ve never heard of this flourless bread from the Bible).
If you know someone that is sensitive to dairy, forward this post along and let them give these products a try. Maybe they’ll like them as much as Brock!
