Tomorrow is a BIG day in the Haigler house.
This big 3rd grader will be taking her first ever End of Grade test (EOG)!
So, what does that call for???
A surprise PEP RALLY as she walks in the door this afternoon, of course 🙂
I have vivid memories of my own little 3rd grade self and how all the teachers and staff of Central Elementary School hosted a CAT Pep Rally the day before our tests began. It was one of my favorite memories from all of my childhood. I can still hear them now, “You can do it, you can do it, you can beat that test!”
We may have scared Kayla just a bit as she walked through the door.
Oh, what fun we had!!
Even dad got into the cheerful spirit for his oldest granddaughter!
Kayla, we love you more than you’ll ever know! We’re so proud of all you’ve accomplished this year in reading and math. You amaze me with your enthusiasm for learning – never ever let that go, dear. You’re gonna ROCK that test tomorrow!
Any day is a good day for a pep rally! Celebrate the ordinary and the extraordinary. Who wouldn’t want to walk into their own personal cheerleaders encouraging them to be their best??
Oh, and Kylie has already decided we need to do this for her soon too, hahah!
