Y’all.
Several months ago (ok, really it was like a year and a half) – we went on a trip to Pigeon Forge with some friends and while we were out shopping one of them told us, “You MUST try this glaze. For real. It is sooooo good.”
It’s a sweet bourbon glaze made by Paula Deen. We picked it up at either Paula Deen’s store in Pigeon Forge or Smoky Mountain Knife Works (I can’t remember which one).
So, we bought a jar.
Since I cook so much (obviously), it sat in our pantry for a while.
Don’t worry – it wasn’t expired yet.
We decided to bake some chicken in the oven a few weeks ago and I thought about that glaze in the pantry.
Goodness gracious alive.
Stop it right now and shut the front door.
I have never had something SOOOO AHHHMAZING on chicken.
Brian’s words: “I could seriously eat this every single day.”
I am not joking here.
We wanted to tell you about this stuff sooner, but I went online to purchase another jar and it was SOLD OUT! The nerve.
But guys – – – as of tonight it’s back in stock!!!
Not gonna lie. We just bought 3 2-packs online from Paula’s store (that would be 6 jars).
Yes, you have to pay shipping. It is worth every penny.
Or, if you’re ever near a Paula Deen store grab a bottle to try. I promise you will not be disappointed.
They have a variety of other glazes and marinades like Apple Cinnamon and Vidalia Onion Peach.
You can check out all the sauces on Paula’s site here:
I feel like Paula – add a stick a butter, y’all!!
