Am I the only one that walks into rooms and somehow this has happened AGAIN??
The disaster also known as the bedroom that our daughters sleep in. Obviously, they are skilled at creating beautiful messes such as these.
So, for tonight’s #makeovermonday project I summoned the entire family upstairs to tackle this room TOGETHER. And we only had 30 minutes before bedtime.
Everyone got to work. And we did it.
Their bedroom is a work in progress as it is full of projects yet to be completed.
So many of you ask how I never run out of projects – and here you go:
That beautiful vanity belonged to Glennie the Great and one of these years I will paint it to match the dresser over in the corner.
Then, there’s this monster of a black piece that also needs to be painted white.
I also need to figure out what to do to hold all their stuffed animals. They create the biggest disaster. We got rid of over half of them, but still. They create huge messes. Right now they are all in a box in the hallway until I figure out a solution. Stay tuned.
And if you have any solutions for storage of stuffed animals in your own home, I’d love to hear about it!
Facing a disaster area in your home? Call your entire family (or invite over a friend to dinner and tell them payment is helping you for a 30 minute cleanup!!).
Ask for help, give everyone a job and make it happen quickly!
You’ll feel better and have motivation to move on to the next room. Brian says the next room should be ours, lol.
