We have a lot of stuff. Obviously.
Our kids are getting old enough to really learn responsibility in our home, so we’re trying something new.
We officially set a family goal this week.
Keep the playrooms clean every night before going to bed.
Our playroom upstairs is supposed to look like this:
Buuuuutttt most days it looks more like this:
Okay – well, that isn’t our house and I have no idea who that kid is, but YOU GET THE POINT! Right???
If our kids go 30 days with cleaned up toys, they can each invite a friend over for a sleepover.
If they go 60 days, we’ll take them to Chuck E. Cheese.
And if they make it 100 straight days, we’ll plan a trip to Carowinds!
It’s hilarious – Kylie reminded us before we even got home last night that the playrooms needed to be picked up!!! I love it!!!
Need help with something in your home? Enlist support from your family. Set a goal and then incentives to celebrate once you achieve your goals. When there is a goal to achieve, everyone works together and mama is a little less weary and tired. Amen!
PS – did you get my blog alert last night? Several people did not (including myself and Brian). Here’s a link to the post in case you missed it.

Thanks, Pookie! I’m not sure what happened last night. I sent just like I always do
I’m looking into a different system to send my alerts that is a little more reliable. And yes, this is the house in Monroe we were telling you about a few months ago! Just a little further out than you wanted to be 🙂
