We’ve been working on today’s #makeovermonday project for a few months now.
This cute little ranch in the country got a facelift!
It’s amazing what a little paint and landscaping can do for a house!
The door and shutters were painted Sherwin Williams Dark Night SW 6237.
The house siding color stayed the same and the landscaping was updated to place new fresh shrubbery.
Next, we take the makeover inside. Unfortunately, I don’t have many before images to show (come on, Brian – help a girl out here).
But, I think you get the point.
The cabinets were painted Sherwin Williams Mindful Gray SW 7016.
I absolutely love changing kitchen cabinets with a bucket of paint!!!
Here, let’s see those images again together…just for fun.
These kitchen updates never get old for me – I LOVE them! We added white subway tile, granite counter tops (Texas white is the color), stainless steel appliances and new cabinet hardware.
The flooring remained the same as before.
The bathrooms got granite and painted cabinets as well – sorry, no before photos.
The granite and cabinet paint are the same as what we used in the kitchen.
And also, let’s not talk about that mirror. I had nothing to do with picking it out and I’m not a fan. To whoever lives here, please replace these mirrors. Thank you.
And I love how open the living area is for this ranch home.
This backyard view is what I love most, I do believe.
That’s it for today’s project. We have a few more we’re working on finishing up soon and I can’t wait to share – especially the nasty face mask house! Remember that one??
Never underestimate the power of a can of paint. Exterior changes to doors, shutters and and trim can have a major effort with a small cost. Interior changes to cabinets and walls with paint can make your home feel new and fresh.
