Enough.
You are enough, friend.
This Christmas season can be my absolute favorite time of the year.
And it can be the hardest.
Long days, soooo many items on the to-do list. And it seems like some days there aren’t enough hours in the day to finish it all.
Anyone else relate?
Last night I spent time with Kylie and our family on her birthday instead of getting around to writing this blog. I had to decide what I had time for and what I didn’t.
And then live my decision with no regrets.
I challenge you to do that in the next few days. Instead of stressing and beating yourself up for what you can’t accomplish – and trying your hardest to do it all – just choose what you can do and be ok with that being ENOUGH.
The sun will rise tomorrow and your family probably won’t even notice the smallest details like perfectly matched place settings or whatever it is you wish you had enough time to get around to doing.
I promise you are enough.
I promise that exactly what you get finished will be enough.
And that Jesus will show up in those moments when you give up being a control freak crazy holiday maniac (hello, preaching to myself here people).
Join me tonight. Be ok with whatever you have and wherever you are.
And get some sleep.

Amen, I am not a procrastinator though, but definitely want to do do do at Christmas. So having just gotten home from deployment , I too must choose. Sigh, and that is OK. I want to focus on Jesus. He is the most important to me.
Merry Christmas.
