I have 3 friends facing something that needs prayer warriors this week.
3 of these ladies – all friends I love and care about – have a child going into a major surgery. I know if I were in their positions, I’d want everyone I know praying on our behalf. Would you join me in lifting their entire families up?
Here are their stories:
Monday – a friend’s son is having brain surgery
A friend’s young son started having seizures in 2015. Their family had never experienced anything like this and they came out of nowhere. He is facing surgery tomorrow morning that we pray will eliminate the seizures from happening. Pray that the surgeons find exactly what they need to find to know what to remove from his brain. Pray for full recovery. Pray for no developmental loss or delays.
Tuesday – Gabby is having her gallbladder and appendix removed

Gabby is a teenage girl in our church that has been experiencing tremendous pain over the past several years. She’s also had back surgery before. Please help me pray for Gabby that this surgery will relieve so much pain she’s been suffering from. Pray for her mom and dad. Michael and Melissa own and manage their own business. As a small business owner myself, I know what it’s like to feel the pressure of keeping that going while dealing with big things in your life. Pray for the surgeons. Pray for a quick recovery. And pray for people to help with their business so they can take care of their child.
Wednesday – Meredith is having gallbladder surgery

I shared Meredith’s story a few weeks ago when her mom, Kara, talked about persistence in finding answers for your sick child.
When we slow down enough to think of others, we learn that life is precious and we can’t take a single moment for granted. Lift up these sweet children this week. Everytime you think of them, just whisper a prayer.
Thank you, friends!
