Ok, I’m sharing one of my BEST secrets for gift shopping on today’s version of #shareitsaturday.
Disclaimer: If you get gifts from me this year, you should pretend you don’t see this post and that I’m spending more on you than you see here, hahahah!!
First of all, you should go to Ollie’s if you have never been.
Seriously. Bargain Outlet. THE BEST!!
Any place that has hand written sale signs on the window is MY KIND OF LOVELY.
You never want to go to Ollie’s when you’re in a hurry. No.
You need time to LOOK. And time to browse. And time to walk the bargains. Don’t try to be in a hurry. You won’t like it as much, I promise.
My first recommendation is the section you’ll see directly upon entering the store, and in my opinion – the REASON you need to go.
This place could be a book store in itself. The section is SPECTACULAR.
The children’s books are amazing and oh so cheap, y’all.
These are expensive type books – and name brand – Disney, etc.
And then – find the Bibles.
Especially if you’re buying a Bible for a child or a teen, go here first. Do not spend ridiculous amounts of money.
Leather bound NIV Bible. Guess how much????
THAT SERIOUSLY SAYS $5.99.
And this compact skinny cute Bible – my parents got me one like this when I went to college and it is still one of my favorite Bibles:
Next up, the Inspirational books section.
This is where I get all of my fun devotional books that I use as gifts for friends and relatives. I can’t even believe I’m telling you what I pay for these gifts…
That really does say .69 cents. I’m not joking.
$2.99. I can get $2.99 gifts ALL DAY LONG HERE.
Please don’t look at my fingernails. Goodness. They are BAD.
Journals with scripture and inspirational quotes on pages?? Not $10. Oh no.
Are you convinced yet??
Do you see why I LOVE OLLIE’S???
There are many more book sections too.
Plus sports and cooking and fitness and novels and I could just keep going.
This fiction author is one of my favorites. His HARDBACK book:
Ok, maybe books aren’t your thing. They have more.
Y’all. They are so cheap. And they have tons of carpet remnants if you need that for a room or for a garage or for whatever.
And the toys. Oh goodness the toys.
This little electronic computer thingy with over 60 games and activities is only $10 and is PERFECT for Kylie.
You will not find me spending crazy money on toys or gifts. We just don’t do it.
Just say no to crazy expensive ridiculousness.
And get yourself to Ollie’s.
You’re welcome 🙂
Ollie’s is great to stop in for closeouts on items – especially gifts. We usually make Ollie’s a stop during our Christmas shopping, especially for books, Bibles and toys.
