#thirstythursday / my friend STOLE A BRA! yes, she did

the daily Starr thirsty thursday

Y’all. I cannot stop laughing!

I’d like for you to meet my friend, Niki.

She’s British (you should hear her talk, y’all). She’s hilarious. She loves Jesus.

And yes, she stole a bra.

There is so much I love about this story – Niki takes us from a real life mishap directly to God’s forgiveness. Click here to read the full story of the stolen bra on Niki’s blog.

“How much emotional baggage, invisibly slung over your wrist, are you carrying around with you on a day to day basis?” He asked.

Whoa! He had me there! Busted! Guilty as charged. He’d seen right through me.

-Niki Hardy

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 55:8

Well said, my friend. Well said.

Is your arm tired and exhausted from carrying around the weight of emotional baggage you’ve refused to put down over the years? Just like the bra my friend carried out of the store unintentionally, God knows we’ve done the same thing. We’ve held so tightly, moving on to the next thing. All the while, He’s already paid the bill. We can let the shame and guilt go and walk away in freedom. We can even chuckle the next time we go shopping for bras 🙂
