Heyyyy, it’s fall y’all!
We decided to bring in the season by making our very own DIY pumpkin garland.
Now, before you think I’m going all Martha Stewart on you…I bought kits at Target. Yes. Yes, I did.
This is a super deal for only $7. If you hurry and make a Target run, you can probably still find them on the shelves near the school supplies and crayons.
There are over 500 pieces and I was delightfully surprised to see that the kit actually makes more than garland.
We just stuck with garland tonight, though. Because really, we’re tired. Ha.
I got a set for each of our girls because I didn’t want to deal with the arguing and wanted to give them the freedom to make it their own. They have to share almost everything in this house. I splurged.
Do you see all those tiny pieces?? We brought in back up.
First, we taped washi tape to the back of the pumpkins.
As soon as I went to hang them, half of the pumpkins fell off. We went BACK to the table and replaced the washi tape with plain old masking tape.
No, not as pretty. But it will serve the purpose.
Brock just climbed the furniture while we got our craft on.
I can’t decide if he’s thinking about stopping or daring me to tell him no….
Time to hang our garland!
I totally moved junk and cleaned up just to take this photo.
Don’t worry. The rest of the living room looks like this.
Happy #funfriday y’all!
You can make your own pumpkins and garland attached to a string or take the easy way out and get yourself a kit at Target for $7 🙂
