It’s a day I’ll never forget. And I truly hope I never do.
Each year brings more stories – of the undercover heroes from that awful day. In the midst of tragedy unfolding, humanity came together to help and to love.
This story brought tears as I read about the 24 year old with the red bandanna who felt like he was going to change the world – and he surely did.
15 years later they asked his mom, “How do you make a hero?”
And if you have a little more time to read this week, a friend shared this super interesting article that gives a glimpse into everything that happened right after 9-11 from the perspective of the President and all those that were with him that morning in a small Florida elementary school as the events began to unfold. This one is long, but oh so interesting.
9-11 is a day that changed history. What are you doing to slow down and reflect each year? Keep the heroes alive and be forever thankful for God’s hand on our country.
