I’m a tank top wearing girl. I wear one every day under whatever shirt I have on.
But really, y’all.
30 tank tops is too many.
And if I’m being completely honest, there are a few more in the dirty clothes hamper.
There’s nothing like laying all the tank tops out in the floor and realizing you could wear one every single day for a month. That’s ridiculousness.
I decided to try them on. Some are just too tight. I don’t even wear them. Some are too short. I guess I keep thinking I’ll shrink and be shorter or some kind of nonsense. Some are just plain worn out and need to be trashed.
I got rid of 10 quickly.
And I’ll admit – I retired some to pajamas. They’re just too comfy.
So that leaves me with 17 tank tops – which is still probably too many. But, it’s a start and almost half of what I started with.
That leads me to the fact that I’ve never had a good storage solution for my tank tops. They get worn everyday, so I need them easily accessible. I don’t like hanging them up because they’d take too much room in the hanging racks and they always fall off the hangers.
They just lay here on a shelf.
All the OCD people are going crazy now. Obviously there isn’t an ounce of OCD in my body.
They aren’t organized. I can’t find the one I want. They fall over. They get hung in the drawer below. Until tonight…
I found this amazing hanger at Target a few weeks ago.
It’s called a Tank Top Hanger – pretty amazing, right?
It was less than $10 and I got it on sale. Super happy.
Tonight, I hung those tank tops on the Tank Top Hanger. Oh yes, I did.
I have no earthly idea if that is how they are supposed to hang, but it works for me. All my tank tops are organized and on the hanger.
I have some super long tank tops, so they hang pretty low. I decided to hang my Tank Top Hanger on the back of our closet door to easily access each morning.
I’m pretty happy about my continued progress in the closet – just working my way around, little by little – something every week. That’s a lot more obtainable for me than spending umteen hours trying to do it all in one day. BORRRRINGGG!
Need a storage solution for tank tops?
- The Tank Top Hanger was purchased from Target in the closet organization section. It easily holds 16 tank tops, but I doubled up on some of mine.
