I’m a tomato con-nois-seur.
Yes, I’m an expert judge in matters of taste when it comes to tomatoes.
I grew up on tomato, Duke’s mayo, salt and pepper – all on one of Glennie the Great’s homemade biscuits. YUMMMM! Goodness I’d love to have one right now.
Homegrown tomatoes are a breed of their own, but you can’t always find them – or they get eaten up too quickly when I’m around.
FRIENDS – HERE is the next best thing.
This little box of yellow and red gold is called Nature Sweet Cherubs – Heavenly Salad Tomatoes.
They are indeed, heavenly.
I find them locally year round at our grocery store called Harris Teeter (aka Kroger to some of you, same company now). I’ve also seen them in Walmart before – just varies with them.
They might be a bit more pricey, but can I tell you that if you love tomatoes they will be worth EVERY PENNY.
I could seriously eat the entire box. Which I pretty much do since I’m the only one in our house that eats tomatoes. I sure hate I don’t have to share…
My tomato loving friends will never be the same. You’re welcome.
- Stop by your local grocery store – Harris Teeter or Kroger if you have one.
- Look in the produce section for Nature Sweet Cherubs.
- Indulge in tomatoes BURSTING with flavor.
