The girls walked in the door this afternoon and we surprised them with our first ever tea party!
Aunt Debra is in town visiting, along with some of our favorite Tennessee/Georgia friends.
I would call this more of a “Southern Sweet Tea” party – because we certainly weren’t conventional in our tea party ways!
We had pudding and grapes and blueberries and donuts, oh yeah!
Wait. What is that in the middle of the donuts??
That would be Aunt Debra being funny. Potato. Yes. On a toothpick.
Joy found one in her pudding. She wasn’t amused.
Y’all would be so proud. We served Chick-fil-a tea at our party – straight outta the plastic jugs!!
We had such a blast at our first tea party – and wore fancy hats, just because!
I’m pretty sure the girls liked the cookies and donuts more than the tea, ha!
Brock enjoyed the blueberries most.
I would highly recommend to host your own fun southern sweet tea party! Make it your own and serve whatever you love. There are no rules when making it your own. Spending time together is what matters most!
