Yesterday we took off on a road trip together – me, mom and Joy!
No, we didn’t go to STARR, SC.
One of the turns on our interstate detour (because of a bad wreck) had this sign above. Yes, I had to hold up traffic and snap a photo because that’s just pretty awesome.
We landed in Georgia and met up with Aunt Debra and lots of our other friends!
We’re at a crafting conference (my first time) and stayed up insanely late last night making cards, jewelry and all kinds of crazy crafts.
Obviously, Aunt Debra stayed up past her bedtime.
That’s supposed to be a greeting card you give someone you love. I wouldn’t recommend giving THAT to anyone!!
Joy and I took a class learning how to make pretty paper flowers.
We were really just taking this class to get a button. That’s a thing here at the conference – collecting buttons.
And the highlight of our #funfriday was taking a calligraphy class together!
Joy was really good at learning!
I’m still learning – it’s gonna take a lot of practice, for sure!
I figured out I’m a lot better at coloring.
As for the kiddos on this #funfriday – they’re out having fun with friends.
Brian – well, he’s home sleeping!! Ha!
