#trashouttuesday / 14 baby wipe containers – repurposed

After getting home from work, I gathered baby wipe containers from all over the house.

We buy baby wipes by the case and they usually come with ANOTHER wipe container. Why?!????

I’ve already donated several over the years, but they keep accumulating. And these things last forever, we still have one that was used in the first daycare Kayla ever stayed at – 8 years ago!

Several months ago I noticed people all over Pinterest re-using their wipes containers for all kinds of great ideas.

Tonight, I got to work!

I found this fun fabric tape – like duct tape, stretchier – on clearance at Hobby Lobby.

I wrapped the tape in 2 pieces along the bottom and this one roll covered 2 containers plus a small leftover piece.

They were super easy to cover and it took all of 5 minutes.

I made one into a snack container and labeled the other 2 for our girls to use in the car. I used a basic orange Sharpie marker – because that’s all I had in the kitchen drawer.

I don’t know if it’s the heat or what – but our munchkins have been super hungry lately. Having snacks in the car makes life easier and it’s a lot cheaper than constantly stopping for a snack.

The other two containers are for them to keep the toys that constantly collect inside our car contained. My new motto – if it doesn’t fit in the container, it doesn’t stay in the car!

I pinned lots of great ideas here to use for our other baby wipe containers. These people are genius!!
