4 years ago, I talked my family into a spontaneous crafty project we completed on Mother’s Day.
They grumbled a bit, but they got over it ๐
We put paint onto paper plates and everyone laid a handprint onto this plain white drawing paper.
The tree is an original drawing of yours truly.
I’m not sure why, but Kayla’s handprint isn’t labeled. I need to fix that.
This is a photo from the day we did those prints:
Kylie was an itty bitty baby.
Kayla looks like Kylie.
Joy was as beautiful as ever.
Glennie the Great looked SOOO good.
Our walls were painted with green stripes and the antique couch is in the background.
We made a print for us, mom and Great each to take home.
I love this memory. So much so I think we’ll do another tomorrow. It’s time to add a little boy’s print to the mix ๐
Whatever your plans might be this weekend, I encourage you to make memories. We never know how many days we will have left to do just that.
Encouragement for the Day:
