Summer is coming quickly – someone say YAYYYYYY!!!
The planning is already happening around our home and for today’s #shareitsaturday post I thought it would be fun to let you peek inside our crazy Haigler world for some summer inspiration of your own!
#1 – Picnic Table Makeover
This old green beat up picnic table has been hiding behind the bushes on our front porch along with the dead plants. Who knows how many coats of paint there have been – but it’s about to get one more!! Glennie the Great will be proud to know we’re about to transform their old table.
#2 – Joy turns 16!
Can you even believe it? My little sister will be turning the magical 16 years old this summer! I’ve pretty much convinced her that she doesn’t need a 16th birthday party (I had one and that was so dumb!!). Instead, I think we should take a trip! Now to figure out where and to convince Brian we can fit in just one more quick trip in 2016 🙂
#3 – Summer Night Lights
I found this photo on Pinterest. Doesn’t that just scream lazy summer fun?? I want those pretty twinkle lights in our back yard and comfy blankets and a handmade movie screen. We haven’t been in the entertaining mode at our house since Brock was born – hello, we’ve just been surviving hah! It’s time to clean up and start having friends over this summer to enjoy the fun summer night lights.
#4 – Summer camps
Last summer was our first venture into summer camps and Kayla had a blast. We have a few local favorites that our kids will be participating in over the summer – check them all out if you’re looking for some great summer fun for your kiddos.
>>Lanti Music<< has all kinds of music, acting and performance camps happening.
>>Masterpiece Studios<< has art, dance, tumbling, superheroes, princesses and Inside Out! Bonus – if you register before Monday, you qualify for an early bird discount!!
Monroe Aquatics and Fitness Center has an amazing day camp with lots of fun field trips, daily swimming and more! They have summer swimming lessons too.
Also, we love the flexibility of ISC Gymnastics in Matthews for their all day camp.
I’m excited to be joining my friend Leigh as she leads a new weekly Bible study this summer for moms of young children. It’s being held at First Baptist of Indian Trail and costs $25 (includes breakfast, t-shirt, childcare, etc.). See more details below on topics and registration info. I’d love to see you there on Tuesday mornings!
Whew, this summer is gonna be spectacular!!! What are your plans?
