Last week, I started labeling everything for our kiddos and their clothes so I could get help in putting things away. This is great – no excuses for not knowing where something goes.
We tackled all of Kayla’s clothes and some of Kylie’s last #trashouttuesday:
Tonight, we continued the labeling and I moved on to Brock’s everyday clothes.
We use this old TV cabinet to hold baby items. The last time I organized this cabinet was before Brock was born. It’s become a bit cluttered and not as effective as it could be.
I pulled all the unnecessary items out and replaced with what we’re using everyday.
Now the entire family can help put little brother’s clothes away!
Also, I spent a little time in our bedroom this afternoon working with the dresser I painted green yesterday for #makeovermonday
You can really see the color more now that it is up against the white cabinet.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color. It’s Halcyon Green by Sherwin Williams. I got it mixed into their exterior primer and I paint straight onto the wood, no sanding. It takes about 3 quick coats, with about 15-20 minutes to dry between coats.
I added back a few decor items tonight as well –
That’s one of our $5 staples prints – you can see how to do that here.
I found this fun lamp shade on clearance at Target last year for about $6. It looks great with the color of the dresser.
Side note – this fun tv screensaver is part of Apple TV – an add on you plug into your normal tv to stream different programs and make your tv smart, like your phone. This is one of my favorite things. These real videos take you to places you may never see in person – Hawaii, London, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Great Wall of China!! I love it!!
Lastly, I added some of our live plants in the old dirty pots from the porch I painted last week.
Next week, Kylie’s clothes are up for labels!!
