On this beautiful #funfriday we continued the tradition of the Easter Egg tree from my late grandmother, Glennie the Great.
Here she is with Joy in front of her home:
Every year, we would pull up to visit and that little tree by the road would be full of eggs.
She attached strings to each one of the plastic eggs.
And oh how she loved her yard. She even mowed it all herself on her John Deere!
Here is our first Easter Egg Tree from last year:
As we dumped all the eggs out of the old box this afternoon, I couldn’t help but think how proud she would be to know we still use these little eggs hooked with strings that she did so many years ago.
We hooked them all over our tree!
Brock had a blast too!
Our Easter Egg Tree of 2016 turned out to be beautiful.
Brock just wanted to eat the eggs!
And we ended the night cooking brownies with Grammy.
It’s a good, good Friday, friends!
