We’re like giddy school kids tonight – out on a 3 hour date – oh yes we are!!
Oh, yes. And we DID eat ALLL that good food at Pei Wei. Sure enough.
This is officially our first ever Parent’s Night Out – thanks to Mrs. Jackie and Masterpiece Art & Dance Studios!
The girls came home from school, got quick baths, got on their PJs, grabbed their pillows and blankets, left with wet hair and had NO IDEA where they were headed.
Awaiting them for this week’s #funfriday: movies, popcorn, art, pizza and more!!
Want to know what I love most about our Masterpiece family?
These kids have some of the most encouraging friendships I’ve seen in young people. You see it in their faces. You see it in their dances. You see self confidence growing, year after year. You see them pouring into the smaller children and being such incredible role models.
This is a place I want my girls to spend time and the type of environment I want to see them thrive in!
Three cheers for Mrs. Jackie!!!
And poor little Brock, well – he’s too young for Parent’s Night Out.
So he’s smiling and chilling tonight with Aunt Joy!
I’m thinking this idea of a parent’s night out could even work with some of our friends that have little kids. Maybe we could rotate around – one week at our house, everyone else go out on a date! Then move to another couple’s house next month. Anyone want to join us?? I’d surely take you up on that in a heartbeat!
If you’re like us and struggle to find a night out, find friends who struggle with the same thing and trade off!
Meanwhile, I’ll be enjoying these last few seconds at my favorite coffee shop with my man! Investing time with your spouse is never a bad thing. Never 🙂
Happy weekending, friends!
