I’ve been trying to be purposeful with what I read first thing in the morning and the last thing at night. I don’t want social media or emails to be that in my life – and that is a true struggle for me.
I want God to set the stage for my day and to be on my mind as I drift to sleep.
Last night as I read My Utmost for His Highest, this last sentence by Oswald Chambers jumped off the page. I couldn’t get this off my mind.
God is in the everyday.
I’m so easily distracted by wanting to see God in the big things or wanting to find Him in where I’m going. I forget He’s right there in the everyday. Some of the most amazing revelations can come from the normal everyday.
Yes, the process is where I learn the most from Him.
God, help me #slowitdownSunday and find you in the everyday this week.
