#shareitsaturday / the only lotion that heals Brock’s eczema

Today’s #shareitsaturday post is all about dry skin. Anybody else struggling with this??

Baby Brock has extreme dry skin – infant eczema really.

He gets it honest – Brian and I both struggle with dry patches and rashes on our skin, especially during the winter months. And both of our girls had these awful patchy places on their skin when they were babies.

I haven’t been able to find anything that comes close to helping his poor skin. His chubby legs have been covered in patches and his face started looking terribly bad – red and cracked.

My mother-in-law had a lotion on her counter during the holidays that I tried in passing and fell in love with on my hands. It isn’t fancy, smelly or pretty. It looks like the kind of lotion my grandma used a lot of back in the day.

But goodness…..it felt SOOOOOO good on my hands.

In fact, I stopped that very night on the way home to get my own bottle.

Curel Ultra Healing Intensive Lotion

I’ve kept this bottle by my bed for about a month and my hands are actually doing very well during this cold dry spell we’re having.

Back to Brock: I have tried several lotions and balms on his skin and nothing seemed to be truly making it better. The dry patches were coming back over and over – especially all over his face.

This weekend I decided to put the Curel to the test on his legs and face.

His skin is now SUPER soft!!!

I’m so excited we finally found something that works. I highly recommend this if anyone in your family is struggling with dry patches or eczema.
