Our Pastor shared this very cool video today at church:
Oh my goodness. Isn’t that the cutest??
I can only imagine my cousin’s little daughter that they just adopted from China doing something like this soon!!!
This is our own Sweet P:

3 things that stood out to me today from church:
- God wants prayer to be simple. We grown ups tend to over-complicate things, don’t you think? He just wants us to talk to him, have a relationship, get to know Him – EVERY SINGLE DAY!
- Prayer should include an intentional time dedicated to stopping everything else. I’m guilty of letting my only prayers be the ones I whisper throughout the day. This is TOTALLY ok at times – but I’m missing out on so much more by forgoing the dedicated time and space to meet with God.
- Jesus gave us an exact example of how to pray. Have you thought about what Jesus taught us lately? Have you prayed like this lately?
Matthew 6: 9-13
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
I’ve seen the difference intentional prayer can make in my life. I’m inspired by the 2 year old in the video and I’m taking time to #slowitdownSunday to start this week off right in prayer.
Who is with me?
