Today’s #makeovermonday post comes from an idea I found on Pinterest!

Do you have those drawers and closets that just STINK???>?>?

We all do.

For us, it’s Kylie’s shoe cabinet:

And the linen closet – which I can’t figure out why it smells like old people?>???

And the inside of our Goodwill China Cabinetyep, it smells like old people too!!

These three areas always get on my nerves because I can’t seem to get them smelling fresh enough.

Here is the solution for your stinky closets and drawers – straight from the laundry room:

Get a bottle of that Downy UnStoppables genius laundry booster!

Then, a few of those mesh jewelry baggies (I believe you can find them at the dollar store).

Fill the baggies with the beads:

And put them in the location that stinks!!

Note: if you have little children like us, be careful where you place these. They could easily mistake these for candy and accidentally get into them. I’m putting our beads in a safe place away from little hands.

And there you go!

Now you have less stinky and more fresh smelling goodness around your home πŸ™‚

  1. Cute – I was thinking about doing something similar (another Pinterest find) – rice with a few drops of (safe) essential oils – stir thoroughly, let the rice dry, put in little bags such as yours.

      1. One of these days I’ll get you to think more about those oils hiding in your house… πŸ˜‰
