#thirstythursday / are you thirsty for healing?

On this #thirstythursday I’ve got several friends facing situations where they need healing.

Healing for…

A child that has a blood disease.
A mother that is fighting illness and needs constant care.
A child that needs healing in a heart defect.
Emotional health and relief from anxiety.

And so much more.

I’m thirsty for healing too – for my own extended family and their needs they are facing.

These verses are what I’m clinging to as a reminder that healing is OURS, friends:

Psalm 107:19-21
19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.
20 He sent out his word and healed them;
he rescued them from the grave.
21 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind.

5 things to remember:

#1 Cry out to the Lord
#2 He saved them from distress
#3 Sent out His word and healed them
#4 He rescued them from the grave
#5 Give thanks to the Lord!

There’s a song we sing at church that says so much about healing. I love these words. This video is kinda cheesy, but the only version that I could find to share from YouTube:

  1. There is healing in this house was the first thing I thought of when you said healing. I love the part where it says there is healing for trouble minds. Our God is awesome and wants healing for every part of us mind, body and soul. He is so good and healing for a troubled mind is what I am clinging to right now. Thanks Starr even when your body needs a healing touch you are such a great encouragement to me.
